She tackles the tough topics with wit and humor. She's made me laugh and cry.
Like her expressive style or not, you'll never come away from Sandy Asper's writings without something to ponder. What she writes is compelling.
I'm not sure what I enjoy more; reading Sandy Asper when I agree with her point of view, or when I don't (and I frequently experience both). She has a style that simply keeps you wanting more.
Sandy, I am not sure why you chose to compile the columns you wrote for Newport Beach Patch but I am glad you did. You gave me the opportunity to read all of them. Generally I prefer research and reporting to generalities based on anecdotal evidence but in your case your passion and support for educators and education was often persuasive. Thank you.
